Salix thorelii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Laos hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Salix thorelii diperkenalkan oleh Louis-Albert Dode pada tahun 1930.
