Salpichroa gayi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Salpichroa gayi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Raymond Benoist pada tahun 1938.
