Samolus eremaeus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Australia. Nama ilmiah Samolus eremaeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Surrey Wilfrid Laurance Jacobs pada tahun 1980.
