Sapium haitiense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Haiti (Massif de la Hotte). Nama ilmiah Sapium haitiense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1921.
