Saussurea grosseserrata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari China (Yunnan barat laut). Nama ilmiah Saussurea grosseserrata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adrien René Franchet pada tahun 1888.
