Saxifraga cotyledon merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Saxifragaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa utara, Pyrenees, Alpen. Nama ilmiah Saxifraga cotyledon pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
