Scabiosa arenaria adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania selatan dan timur. Nama ilmiah Scabiosa arenaria pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1775.
