Scabiosa tysonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Scabiosa tysonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harriet Margaret Louisa Bolus (née Kensit) pada tahun 1917.
