Scaevola coccinea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Goodeniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kaledonia Baru tenggara. Nama ilmiah Scaevola coccinea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Albert Ulrich Däniker pada tahun 1933.
