Scaphochlamys argentea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sarawak). Nama ilmiah Scaphochlamys argentea diperkenalkan oleh Rosemary Margaret Smith pada tahun 1987.
