Scaphochlamys polyphylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan Barat. Nama ilmiah Scaphochlamys polyphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1972.
