Schaueria lachnostachya merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Schaueria lachnostachya pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1847.
