Schiedea salicaria merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan royal schiedea. Nama ilmiah Schiedea salicaria diperkenalkan oleh William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand pada tahun 1888.
