Schistocarpha bicolor merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Schistocarpha bicolor diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Friedrich Lessing pada tahun 1831.
