Schistocarpha platyphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Oaxaca) hingga El Salvador. Nama ilmiah Schistocarpha platyphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jesse More Greenman pada tahun 1907.
