Schizachyrium fragile adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China tenggara hingga Vietnam, Taiwan, Jawa, Papua hingga Pasifik barat. Nama ilmiah Schizachyrium fragile pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1924.
