Schizaea poeppigiana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Schizaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Chiapas) hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan epiphytic curlygrass fern. Nama ilmiah Schizaea poeppigiana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Wilhelm Sturm pada tahun 1859.
