Schizaea tenella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Schizaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe timur hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Schizaea tenella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Friedrich Kaulfuss pada tahun 1824.
