Schizostachyum biflorum merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jawa Barat. Nama ilmiah Schizostachyum biflorum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Floyd Alonzo McClure pada tahun 1936.
