Schnella splendens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Brazil utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Schnella splendens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1840.
