Schoenoplectiella heterophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Schoenoplectiella heterophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Ernest Schuyler pada tahun 2003.
