Schoenoplectiella hotarui merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Schoenoplectiella hotarui diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jisaburo Ohwi pada tahun 2010.
