Schoenoplectiella muriculata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Schoenoplectiella muriculata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Kükenthal pada tahun 2021.
