Schoepfia brasiliensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Schoepfiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Venezuelan Antilles hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Schoepfia brasiliensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1857.
