Scirpodendron ghaeri (Gaertn.) Merr.

Rumbai latah adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh pada media yang tergenang air (helofit) dan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Di Indonesia rumbai latah memiliki beberapa nama, antara lain ada yang menyebutnya rumbai (Melayu), pies (Lampung), atau pandan ayer (Maluku). Nama ilmiah Scirpodendron ghaeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Gaertner pada tahun 1914.
