Scirpus atrovirens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada hingga Amerika Serikat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan green bulrush. Nama ilmiah Scirpus atrovirens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1809.
