Scleria calcicola merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Zambia. Nama ilmiah Scleria calcicola diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Armitage Robinson pada tahun 1966.
