Scleria cyathophora merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Nama ilmiah Scleria cyathophora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Eric Holttum pada tahun 1947.
