Scleria hispidior adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Kenya. Nama ilmiah Scleria hispidior diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1955.
