Scolopia theifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Scolopia theifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernest Friedrich Gilg pada tahun 1901.
