Scrophularia peregrina merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mediterranean figwort. Nama ilmiah Scrophularia peregrina diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
