Sedum oreades merupakan tumbuhan semisukulen dari famili Crassulaceae yang hidup dalam siklus satu musim tumbuh. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan timur laut hingga China (Yunnan barat laut) dan Myanmar utara. Nama ilmiah Sedum oreades pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Decaisne pada tahun 1909.
