Selaginella acanthostachys adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Selaginellaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Selaginella acanthostachys pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1883.
