Selaginella armata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Selaginellaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Greater Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan armored spikemoss. Nama ilmiah Selaginella armata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1884.
