Selaginella sellowii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Selaginellaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Selaginella sellowii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 1900.
