Selaginella tortipila adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Selaginellaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan twistedhair spikemoss. Nama ilmiah Selaginella tortipila pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun pada tahun 1865.
