Selago hispida merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Selago hispida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1782.
