Selinocarpus diffusus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Nyctaginaceae. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan spreading moonpod. Nama ilmiah Selinocarpus diffusus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1853.
