Senecio amplectens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Colorado hingga New Mexico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan showy alpine ragwort. Nama ilmiah Senecio amplectens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1862.
