Senecio arenarius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Senecio arenarius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1800.
