Senecio transiens merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Corse, Sardegna. Nama ilmiah Senecio transiens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georges Rouy pada tahun 2003.
