Senna aciphylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland hingga Victoria. Nama ilmiah Senna aciphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1989.
