Senna atomaria adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Venezuela, hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan flor de san jose. Nama ilmiah Senna atomaria pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Howard Samuel Irwin pada tahun 1982.
