Senna splendida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil dan Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Senna splendida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Julius Rudolph Theodor Vogel pada tahun 1982.
