Senna stipulacea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Senna stipulacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Townsend Aiton pada tahun 1982.
