Seriphium cryptophyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran) yang memiliki siklus reproduktif hanya sekali seumur hidupnya (monokarpip). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Seriphium cryptophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 2016.
