Serratula coronata subsp. insularis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Korea, Jepang tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Serratula coronata subsp. insularis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Modest Mikhaĭlovich Iljin pada tahun 1943.
