Sesbania vesicaria adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bagpod. Nama ilmiah Sesbania vesicaria diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1823.
