Setaria liebmannii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga Kolombia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan liebmann's bristlegrass. Nama ilmiah Setaria liebmannii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eugène Pierre Nicolas Fournier pada tahun 1886.
