Setaria tenax

Setaria tenax (Rich.) Desv.

Setaria tenax adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Setaria tenax diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Louis Claude Marie Richard pada tahun 1831.
